Montagnana – An important piece to complete the Montagnana facility (Andrea Broschi Hockey Stadium) could take shape in the coming months.

Submit the project to the President of the Union

In recent days, the Pistoia Hockey Club has officially donated the initial project to the Marliana Municipality. The process significantly reduces the time needed to find the financing necessary to build the piece that completes the facility and makes it strategic from a competitive sporting point of view but also of interest for the touristic/sporting and social aspects.

The project was also presented to the Federation President Sergio Megnard, who supported the initiative.

“The project to improve the Broschi sports field proposed by the President of HC Pistoia Riccardo Fedi – said Megnard – goes in the direction of the social and sporting enhancement of hockey sports facilities. It is a new and modern vision of sports facilities that, in addition to fulfilling sporting commitments, ensures meeting points, play areas and car games to meet the needs of new generations and families. The FIH supports this project of high social value.”

The Mayor of Marliana, Federico Broschi, was present at the handover of the project, who wanted to emphasize that “the Municipality welcomes the project proposal with great enthusiasm, recognizing its double social and sporting value. We are committed to ensuring the construction of the stand in the shortest possible time, thanks to the contribution of the Municipality and the active commitment to finding resources outside the Municipal budget”.

“We wanted to give an important boost to the project – explains President Fede – precisely because this is what this plant has always lacked to have the right characteristics to be considered a model. We did not back down when we started the construction processes and we do not back down now; we will continue our activity in the search for the necessary funds to work, to support the management, and to involve the different actors in a possible, but very realistic, co-financing of the work.”
