“The film will feature mechanical effects at every turn, from the puppet itself to the title of the film,” director Rhys Frack-Waterfield told Bloody Disgusting. “With a budget much higher than my last film, Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2, I aim to make this the ultimate Pinocchio horror film and my best film yet.”

The Twisted Childhood Universe was created by Jagged Edge Productions and ITN Studios and includes other horror fairy tales like the aforementioned Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey and its sequel, as well as the yet-to-be-released Bambi: The Reckoning.
