Thursday evening poetry reading with Claudio Damiani, winner of the Viareggio 2022 Prize, Renata Morrissey and Gabriel del Sarto
In November, two initiatives were launched by Arci Spazio Humanities APS, one of which was promoted by the Department of Humanities – Languages, Literatures, Ancient and Modern Civilizations at the University of Perugia.
The first conference, promoted by the University of Perugia, in collaboration with the IULM in Milan and the University of Milan, as well as with the University for Foreigners in Perugia, relates to the fourth edition of the Annual Symposium on Contemporary Poetry. It will take place on November 10 and 11, in the meeting room of Palazzo Manzoni (the seminar is also available online, on the Teams platform). The seminar is organized by Maria Borio, President of ARCI Spazio Humanities APS and Lorenzo Cardilli; The Scientific Committee consists of Stefano Gidinelli, Paolo Giovannitti, Stefano Giovannazzi, Sabrina Stropba, Maria Borio, and Lorenzo Cardelli. Strengthening the poetic text of the twentieth century, strategies for distributing poetry, and a look at the poetry of the last fifteen years are just some of the topics that will be covered (for the full program of the symposium see published poster).
On the evening of November 10, at 9 p.m., in the Muro Etrusco room in Umbrò (entrance from Via Oberdan), Arci Spazio Humanities proposes a poetry reading with Claudio Damiani, winner of the Viareggio 2022 Prize, and with two other voices of the seventies: Evangelist Renata Morrissey and Gabriel del Sarto.
As for prose, the November session promoted by Arci Spazio Humanities APS is titled, in fact, Prose and poetry -, also in Umbrò, in the Etruscan Wall Room, November 22, 6.30 pm, meeting on the novel and the novel by Leonardo Colombatti (the author is present), honestly not for you, issued for Mondadori. The event will be presented by Karen Berardi.
