“May of Books” at Salles Salentino

“May Books” in Salles Salentino. The cycle of meetings dedicated to the presentation of the volumes, promoted by the “Salice Comunità che Legge” and the Municipality of Salice Salentino, will begin on Sunday, May 12, 2024, at 7 pm, in the cloister of the “Madonna della Visitazione”. The first appointment concerns the book “Eroica, folli e Visionaria”, a work written by journalist Silvia Pincivili. The author will interview Luca Spagnuolo.

The other two meetings will be held on May 17 and 31, again at 7 p.m. The heroine of the first meeting will be the debutant Federica Arnesano with her book of poetry, “Risonanze del cuore.” The author from Salesia will be in conversation with Luigi Palazzo (readings by Carola Epifani, Sofia Scardia and Marta Mongello).

Finally, the guest of the third meeting will be another real native of Salles: Rosalba Fantastico from Castrón, a pioneer of Salento and Puglia culture. A painter, director and playwright, she has published several volumes. Castron’s Fantastico will present “On the Margin of Obscurity” (readings by Franco Lisisi).
