The Tournament Management Office has released the official calendars for the A1 Hockey Series for the 2024-2025 season. The 102nd edition will start on October 12, 2024 with the first day. The Italian champions of Canniccia Motor Club Hockey Forte will be the guests of the newly promoted Azzurra Novara, while Hockey Trissino will be the guests of Ubroker Bassano 1954, one of the many Vicenza derbies that will represent one of the most interesting this season, given the Giallorossi’s summer signing campaign. Forte Trissino, the last Italian league final, will take place ten days before Christmas, in the eleventh round on December 15. The two historic Tuscan derbies of Follonica-Forte and CGC Viareggio-Forte will be played in the fifth and seventh rounds respectively, on November 9 and 16. On November 24th (Day 8) it is time for Trissino-Valdagno and on December 1st another challenge that represents the last five years of Italian rink hockey, Trissino-Lodi.
Game times
Bassano, Montebello and Trissino will play their home games on Sunday at 6pm with Giovinazzo at 8pm on Saturday, while all nine other teams will play at 8:45pm on Saturday.
Italian Super Cup
The first leg of the Italian Super Cup is officially scheduled for Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at 8.45 p.m. at the Antonio Armeni Track in Follonica (Grosseto), while the second leg is scheduled for Wednesday, October 16 at 8.45 p.m. at the Palaforte Stadium in Forte dei Marmi (Lucca). The team with the most goals combined wins the first trophy of the season.
