In Stirpe the Canaries dominated the first half and conceded a 93rd minute equaliser from the French striker. It ended 1-1.
Frozenon – Greg Defrel’s second-minute stoppage-time goal gave Modena a deserved draw at Frosinone as the Gialloblu earned their first point of the season away from home.
After a first half of absolute dominance in which Modena came close to taking the lead at least twice, Frosinone took a somewhat surprising 1-0 lead in the second half thanks to new substitute Di Stefano heading home a rebound from Giannou. The goal was initially ruled out, but was validated after a lengthy VAR review with the Frosinone player still in play for a few centimetres by Di Pardo’s boot.
Modena’s reaction was very offensive, after a chance from Zaro, it led to a deserved equaliser from Defrel who headed in a perfect cross from the right from Battistella at the near post.
For Modena, point number 4 in the standings after 3 days, before the match on Saturday evening when Cittadella arrives in Braglia. (Giancarlo Tacconi)
