The Apulians of Mignani strengthened their leadership in the ranking
(ANSA) – BARI, Dec 22 – Barry cemented his leadership in the standings by defeating Potenza at San Nicola (in large part in the ten-man second-half). Team Mignani dominates the race far and wide at a choppy pace due to the many interruptions caused by the muscle encounter and the lack of restrictions.
In the first half, the hosts created three good chances with Scavone, Botta and Derico. In the second half, we only continued to play the Lucanian half, but in 15′ Bari stayed in the ten due to Scavone’s ejection (handles second yellow for simulation).
Botha and his teammates do not withdraw from the center of gravity and then immediately conquer a penalty kick (Shdira fell by Piana), with stubborn Antinucci (at 18’st) from eleven metres.
The top scorer from Bari is in tenth place this season. At 30′ the double: D’Errico is dropped into the area by the Greek goalkeeper and so the former Monza converts the second penalty kick with an oblique angle.
The Apulians will return to the field to resume the tournament after the Christmas holidays, in January, again in San Nicola, against Picerno. (Dealing).
