At the EO Arte gallery in Asti the last days of the exhibition “Queer is now”

We still have a few days to visit the manifesto exhibition “Queer è ora”, curated by Fabio Orioli, which took place at the EO Arte gallery space in via XX Settembre 112, in Asti. “Queer è ora” aims to tell the stories, words and people of the LGBTQI+ community and to raise awareness and disseminate them through art through a “site-specific” installation.

“Queer is now” has no intention of stopping or asking for permission – say the organizers – if you think you are not ready, you will have no choice but to let yourself be transported through the awakening that will take color and life into the rooms of EO Arte. In the exhibition you will find an introduction to the queer world, the works of six artists, a visual and sound installation inspired by the dance halls of New York, all placed in dialogue by the Asti artist Fabio Orioli for the first time in the role of curator.

“If you don’t know what ‘weird’ means or still have some doubts about some of the themes – she concludes from the exhibition space – you can still discover them at the end of the exhibition.” The closing is scheduled for Friday, July 19 at 5pm as the main final event. The exhibition is open daily from 5pm.
