In the Venice Arsenal, until June 5, there are many opportunities for entertainment: workshops, submarine visits, rescue activities in the water, sailing to the third boat and kite boats. It is a boat show also designed for children, as it organizes different activities in each advertisement in which young visitors to the Maritime Exhibition can participate to see the marine world and share social experiences with their peers̀ in an important historical and cultural context such as the Venetian arsenal.
Activities at the boat show
Until the end of the nautical event there are many activities designed for the little ones. Enrico Dandolo’s submarine visits, treasure hunts, educational workshops, recreational sports activities and many other experiences for young visitors at the Venice Boat Show. The Submersible Area Lawn – Scali Area, until June 5th, has been converted into a large area used for games, workshops and entertainment throughout the day, from 10 to 19:30.
The workshops are free. Places for each shift are limited, so reservations at the designated office are recommended.

Thursday 2, Friday 3 and Saturday 4 June from 11 to 19; On weekdays from 3 to 7 pm Recreational sports activities to play, make friends and experience discovering the traditions of Venice, with a team of qualified sports teachers at the disposal of young visitors.
You will be able to learn how to use maps and compass, make knots and try your hand at small construction of typical Venetian boats. There is also space for Venice’s history and traditions, and also with the possibility of becoming one-day paddlers aboard the Sandolo and Dragon Boat.

Thursday June 2, Saturday 4 and Sunday June 5 from 11 to 14 and from 16 to 19. Experimental workshops and fun educational activities for children aged 5 to 12 years, with the aim of focusing on the problem of waste disposal. Some models will be provided for visitors to observe the sea sand with and without plastic materials inside. The workshops are: “Guess Who?” Searching for Recycling, Making a Difference, Waste Olympics, Kamichi Bay, Food Chain, Sea of Plastic, Science from Waste.
Introduction to Diving and Rescue at Sea (by Club Underwater San Marco)
Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th June from 12 noon to 3.30 pm. Young visitors will be able to attend exciting shows of rescue in the water with divers either on the surface or on the snorkel, where they are rescued by the adorable dogs. Two absolute champions: West, a Labrador puppy, and Calhua, a more experienced and experienced pit bull. Other rescue dogs will assist during the show.

Wednesday 1 June 3pm-5pm With fun activities and workshops organized by Pleasure, kids will learn how to make Optimist paper boats.
Maritime Art Workshop at Villa Al Terzo (organized by the Villa Al Terzo Association)
Monday, May 30 and Friday, June 3 from 2.30pm to 4.30pm. Seafaring and traditional wooden boat production expert Paulo Rusca, who has already built 10 traditional boats including the Venetian Sanperot and Toby, will involve children in preparing the connections, baskets, knots and more.

Every day from 10:30 to 19:30. A guided tour of the Enrico Dandolo Submarine and the wonderful and mysterious educational space at Bunker, where you will experience surprises and other experiences among the explanatory panels and multimedia equipment to discover the history of submarines and the SSK 513 Enrico Dandolo. Visits are free with entry by reservation at the designated office.
Furthermore, Muve also offers a Treasure Hunt (Thursday, June 2, Saturday, 4 and Sunday, June 5 at 11, 14.30 and 16), a phased ride for families and children aged 7 to 12 with a dedicated teacher through a fun treasure hunt.
