Verag Villaggio are off to a great start in the C1 Futsal Championship. The only team from Prato to participate in the highest regional tournament, in its debut, it beat Stadio Florence 4-1 which put it at the top of the table with Versilia, Futsal Torretta, San Giovanni and Futsal Tau, the others on points. Complete after the first day’s conflict. Goals from Cavallaro, Chiappelli, Sollazzo and Selvaggio sealed the victory for Villaggio. The team coached by Emanuele Bigliomini will play its first home match tomorrow against Deportivo Casanova Val di Pesa, after drawing with Pisa’s Fivetofive (3-3). And again tomorrow the C2 Series tournament will start, in which six teams from Prato will participate in Group B. On the first day, Temec Prato will play at home, hosting Midland Global Sport (at the Rogai Ski Track), No Sense Prato against Laurenziana (Chersoni di Iolo), and the new student Chiesanuova, who will face Sestoese (at Nesti di Bagnolo); Debut away from home for Atlético 2001 against Centro Storico Lebovski, for La Querce col Limite and Capraya, and for San Giusto against Atlético Fucecchio.
