Directed by Carlo Vanzina in 1982, the film revolves around the football life of three fans, turning 40: «Eccezzziunale … really». The three heroes, namely Milan Ultra player Donato Cavallo (the cult motto “The password is always the same: viulenzaaa”), the Inter employee whose wife and mother-in-law Franco Alfano and Bolian Juve the truck driver Trezan would not tolerate, were all played by Diego Apatantono, who adapted His “terrunciello” – the comedic role that made him famous in the ’80s – on Donato and Terzan. Next to him are many actors and actresses, from Stefania Sandrelli (translator of Loredana, whom Donato falls in love with) to Derby Club friends Ugo Conte, Teo Tiocoli and Massimo Boldi (Franco’s partners, who made him believe. He made 13 in Totocalcio) without forgetting Ana Milato and Clara Colosimo (Franco’s wife and mother-in-law), Renato Dimore (Sandrino “The Hammer”) and Franco Caracciolo (Traveler). Awaiting your review of this cult Italian cinema – available by streaming on RaiPlay – here are a series of little-known tales and what happened to its most distinguished performers.
