Sigona attacks Miccichè: “That’s why I quit”

Leave the party and shoot Gianfranco Mecchi. He is the coordinator of Eastern Sicily Seniors at Forza Italia, Attilio Sigona. On announcing his resignation from office, Segona goes straight into a direct confrontation with the leader of Sicily Gianfranco Mecchi: “after several years of joining the group and working, given the unalterable situation in Sicily from 1994 onwards with a party entrusted to Miccichè which does not give space except Snackmates, considering that I have served Forza Italia with a strength, constancy and commitment that does not receive recognition of any kind, I announce my resignation as Coordinator of Eastern Sicily and leave the group.

Segona: “No regrets. I feel let down”

“I feel no remorse for having served the party – Attilio Segona is careful to point out – but I am disheartened to see it die so slowly by an ever reckless administration in the hands of usual menial figures”. And he thanks Senator Enrico Pianeta, “a rare person devoted to the party, who spares no effort and effort, as usual not being recognized sufficiently. Friendship with him will remain strong – concluded Segona – and he is the most worthy and valuable person”. Finally “Hello to all the friends from different regions with whom I have shared work and trust in Forza Italia for years. At seventy-seven years old, I no longer allow anyone to take me for a ride.”
