a hundred. The Cento Science Festival is back, with three Fridays dedicated to in-depth studies and performances. After the restoration and renovation work ended last March, the volunteers decided to prepare a season full of films and events.
On Friday, November 11th at 8.45 pm, the Small Sentou Science Festival begins, with the second edition, after the epidemic is broken.
This Friday will start with: Who is afraid of scientists?
Silvana Badaloni will be on stage with Who’s Afraid of Scientists? With docufilm see direct from Mondovisioni International Festival review. It will deal with the difficulties still faced today by scientists and researchers, with biases transferred to artificial intelligence. Professor Silvana Badaloni is Professor of Gender Knowledge and Ethics of Artificial Intelligence in the Department of Engineering at the University of Padua and the Elena Cornaro Center for Cultural Knowledge and Gender Policy in the same faculty.
The cinema doors will open over the weekend with a screening in the original language (with Italian subtitles) of “The Triangle of Sorrow”, a new film from the Palme d’Or triumph at the Cannes Film Festival. The date is set for Saturday 12th November at 9pm, Sunday 13th at 4pm and 9pm and finally Tuesday 15th at 9pm.
