On the occasion of the fifth anniversary of Nintendo SwitchJapanese magazine Famitsu reported on Best selling games For Nintendo console format Japanrevealing a ranking of the 35 most titles and the number of copies sold.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Super Smash Bros. remain. Ultimate is in the top two just as it did a year ago, while Mario Kart 8 Deluxe rose to the podium five years after its release. However, there are several recent releases that have been able to climb up the overall ranking quickly such as Pokémon Shining Diamond, Shining Pearl, Pokémon Legends: Arceus, and Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury.
