Group A

And Herzog, with the latter unsuccessfully making the intraday 2-1 Kazakhstan from Blacker.

Austria signed a coup today by beating the Czech Republic 2-1. Believing that the Austrians had fallen too, collected Cervenka’s goal, but then woke up with the reaction of Leppler’s goal, with time practically out and in an “empty net” state, he asserts himself to penalties with Schinder’s winning turn. On the other hand, it was easier for Sweden to manage the training against Great Britain from the start, when Asplund scored (twice), won 6-0, and renewed his place in the pool of candidates for the final stage.
