International wheelchair hockey tournament in Pisnate in memory of Claudio Carelli

With 8 teams dispatched, and the promise of three days of sport, friendship and a healthy competitive spirit, all the values ​​that Claudio Carelli was able to instill in those who shared him on the field, whether he was a teammate or an opponent. The teams that will fight will be: Hosts Scorpions Varese, The Sharks Monza – the first talent club that originated in Pesnat -, Claudio’s friends – a mixed team that gathers part of his sporting friends – Club Black Lions Venezia – the club where some athletes from the current national team play -, German champions from the Black Knights Dreieich, and the chair hockey gang Dutch Animator, Czech Jaguars Praga and Belgian The Antwerp Wheelblazers.

The event got Sponsored by the Lombardy Region, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Italian Paralympic Federation Powerchair Sport and the Municipality of Pisnat; We thank Orgoglio Varese for the support in organizing the tournament and for donating some Varese Basket Prizes to the Solidarity Lottery, the proceeds of which will go towards supporting our sporting activities and for the exceptional maintenance of the team’s wheelchairs which will also be available to new athletes to allow them to discover the passions of Powerchair Hockey.
