In Via Cadorna opens the “Spazio mamma” by the Pastoral Diocese of the Family

The Facebook page for the Diocesan Pastoral Care of the Family recently announced the imminent opening of a new service in La Spezia prepared by the Christian-inspired Family Counseling Center and La Famiglia volunteers. This is the opening of Spazio Mama, which will be hosted in some rooms of the building called Casa Massa, on Via Cadorna 24. It will be a free entry “space”, absolutely free, for mothers of children up to twelve months of life. The first year of a child, as is well known, is a difficult period for parents, as much as pregnancy. Therefore, the service of welcome, friendship and discussion directed specifically to these mothers (and, if they wish, also to fathers) covers a void in the city and district districts: “Chat together and have coffee – explains the advertisement – to exchange doubts, joys, emotions and new problems that must be faced. ” As soon as possible, the exact opening date and ways of using this service will be communicated, which promises to be an additional contribution to the well-being of the family, and therefore to the well-being of society, especially at that time the so-called “demographic winter”.
