“I am planning my official visit to Canada”

An official visit by Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal is scheduled to Canada. Schmihal made the announcement in an interview with the Canadian newspaper “The Globe and Mail,” though he did not say when he would arrive for security reasons.

With the Canadian government, Schmihal wants to solve the problem of arms supply: “Now we need armored vehicles and artillery shells, howitzers and ammunition for tanks. This is very important to organize our counterattack,” he says. Military risk insurance for Canadian companies with entities in Ukraine will also address the issue.

The Prime Minister of Ukraine concludes that during this visit, cooperation agreements will be signed with a local company operating in the nuclear energy sector.
