VARESE – It’s all in the new logo of Mastini Varese: the circular that reminds of a hockey puck, the initials of the club, the name of the city, the original thirteen stars and in the center of course is the unmistakable mastiff who looks bad at opponents and criminals.
Many things change in the new Hcmv symbol, such as the elegant black background, but all in the wake of tradition and respect for Varese’s glorious hockey history.
Contemporary design, modern lines that look forward to the future, without betraying anything of a solid identity: this is how Mastini Varese presents themselves waiting for a new season full of expectations and ambitions to begin, with a house renovated in a futuristic way and ready to welcome them with passion and enthusiasm of the masses.

A new company and a new official logo, to stamp the beginning of a good omen for a virtuous path to start in the best way.
A graphic and stylistic renewal was necessary to give shape to a cycle that was enthusiastically resumed, advertised in concrete form and a slogan capable of representing an important sporting reality of the city.
Now that there is an imprint on the letterhead, it is time to impress the mastiff too in the hearts of those who are not familiar with the history and traditions of this symbol, with the goal of engaging more and more people, fans and sponsors.
The circular emblem consists of two parts: an outer emblem and a central emblem. Everyone wants to look like a hockey puck, where the black outline indicates the proportions and features. The central part is occupied entirely by the traditional mastiff, that is, that gentle and brave big dog that has accompanied the adventures of yellow and black hockey for decades, since the birth of its glorious history. The yellow dog is surrounded by 13 original and historical stars, the symbol of victory and royalty. These symbolize the ambition of wanting to return to the skies of national hockey by writing other pages of history for our city. The inscription, Hockey Varese in italics, resumes the same one that appeared a few years ago on the team’s jerseys, and goes to the flick of the original mastiff that was “in stock” to the municipality of Varese, which, with a great spirit of cooperation, has been awarded the use of our new company.
The top of the outer logo, on a black background, is reserved for the word HCMV, while the word Varese appears on the left and the word Hockey on the right. There is a thin white line connecting the three words that highlight the name of the new company, HCMV Varese Hockey.
The external logo (HCMV Varese Hockey) embraces the historic internal logo (Mastino), creating a unifying and collaborative synergy between the new corporate name and the city of Varese. An important and symbolic meaning is strongly created, which represents for the city and for the fans a real identity. The new brand, resulting from the union of two distinct logos, has received an implementation full of meaning, leaving history and tradition as it is, and strengthening them, with the aim of continuing to be a part of them.
