A goal has no color: A kick to racism – facts

A target has no color. This is the title of the song and the video clip that is the final result of the “No Racism Lab – Antiracism Lab” project organized by Asd Paperino San Giorgio with a contribution from the Cassa di Risparmio di Prato Foundation. A hymn to Football and Integration created at the end of a six-month journey – which began with the opening of a music competition with an anti-racism key and continued with soundtrack recording and video shooting – with live participation by Al Shabab members who experience football and the sport first-hand. Last summer, the Prato Football Club already opened a competition in which boys from the youth sector (that is, about a hundred teenagers aged 13-19, some of whom are pictured), could send, by participating, anti-racist phrases and themes specifically designed to build the lyrics of the song. . The song, which was actually recorded by the same people who participated in the video and which turned out to be, in its simplicity, a “statement” of topics such as sports passion and collecting, is seen and expressed through the eyes of today’s youth.

“It will be the club’s official song. We will make it our anthem – said Donald San Giorgio’s president, Sauro Pratesi – because it perfectly represents the values ​​that our football club promotes in the region.” From the same opinion, the technical director of the football school, Andrea Bonfiglio, who coordinated the whole project: “Amateur football cannot ignore its educational and training role, especially when it comes to youth groups – he adds -. This initiative is also an excellent example for everyone. Being teachers Being good in life is just as important as being good teachers on the court.”

In the text, football and fusion, as mentioned, are differentiated. “A target has no color, it just makes us hug, angry, Donald San Giorgio” is a frequent refrain.
